Gidget
A Hearse, A Hearse, My Kingdom For A Hearse | 1965
25 min. | color | ABC | first aired: october 20, 1965 | s01e06
Gidget puts a down payment on a hearse just to have the owner skip town and sell the vehicle to a bunch of Gidget’s male friends. Gidget becomes a co-owner and decides to take an auto shop class. The guys don’t like this too much and decide if Gidget is going to act like a guy, they’ll treat her like a guy. Pretty sexist stuff.
