Gidget
Now There's A Face | 1965
25 min. | color | ABC | first aired: december 22, 1965 | s01e15
15-year-old Gidget befriends a 24-year-old photographer on the beach who becomes obsessed with her goofy face as a subject for his photography. They start spending a lot of time together on photo shoots and eventually Gidget realizes she’s in love with him. She has her heart stomped upon when she meets the fiancee he’s never mentioned. This one’s kind of a creepy episode, especially considering the 24-year-old photographer looks like he’s pushing 40.
